Preformed Markings Ltd. was formed as a company in 1996 by Brian and Jackie Hall after a market was identified for multi-coloured thermoplastic. The existing market, at that time, was only using 2 colours, yellow and white, which was in screed form extruded by vehicles on site from boilers.

Initially we stocked only 5 colours, as the demand for more colours increased we extended our range to accommodate our customers and currently we stock 13 colours. The demand for the extra colours arose from the suitability and durability of the material for use in an Early Learning capacity for schools, more importantly the material is environmentally friendly, produced from natural pigments so it is non-toxic and contains no lead or chromates, ideal for use in a school playgrounds. We also produce many road signs to MOT standards as well as signage for the European market. Our product is used to mark car parks, airports, stations and also at various private organizations, golf clubs etc. We provide letters, arrows, numbers and lining in a range of exciting colours, and we despatch daily from our Chertsey warehouse,

 in fact we produce some 5000 preformed items, varying in size from a 50mm letter to a 7.5m high, speed sign.

Our non-red lead is used for the London Bus routes and for all London Transport bus depots and stations. Our roll material has been very successful and is available in 100mm and 50mm widths, in a 6 month period we have sold 20,000 rolls.
